AUTHOR INFORMATION & INSTRUCTIONS

 

Dear authors,

here below the author information for Oral Live/Remote and Poster presentation.

Poster presenters have to be informed that Poster session will be only available online through the online platform (no physical exposition onsite). All participants (LIVE and ONLINE) will be given access to the platform.

ORAL PRESENTATIONS – LIVE PRESENCE

Oral presentations are always accompanied by PowerPoint presentations. The speakers are entirely responsible for the presentation content (order, graphics etc…). All presentations and questions must be delivered in English, as English is the official language of the congress.

Each registered participant will be given access to the online platform for virtual attendance of the poster session and private questions to poster authors and in order to collect Q&A questions from the floor during the sessions that will be received by the Chairmen.

PRESENTATION FORMAT & PREPARATION OF YOUR CONTRIBUTION

In preparing your oral presentation please remember to:

• Include clear objectives
• Have a legitimate study design to investigate the stated objectives
• Discuss valid, substantiated conclusions
• Use clear and comprehensible language
• Create relevant graphs, photos, tables using standard software

All presentations should meet commonly compatible format, preferably using PowerPoint version 2010 or higher in 16:9 aspect ratio.

Supported file types:

Presentation: PPT, PPA, PPTA, PPTX, PDF

Video: AVI, MPG, MKV, MOV, MP4, WMV. Audio: WMA, MP3, WAV

Pictures: JPG, GIF, BMP, TIF

When saving the final presentation to a USB stick, all video files if having any and all links to these multimedia files must be saved on the device with the presentation.

NOTE:  There is no system for editing the slide in our session rooms.

DEPOSITING THE FILE

Presentations must be handed over to the personnel  in the slide center, with a USB stick, as far in advance as possible and THREE hours BEFORE the start of entire session, starting from Monday April 11.04 at 8.00 a.m..

The presentation for an early morning session should be handed over the evening before.

Authors must present themselves to the Chairpersons of their session at least 10 minutes before their session starts in order to acquaint themselves with the equipment.

Please note it is not possible to use your own pc.

Time reserved for scientific presentations: 10 minutes presentation + 5 minutes discussion

Authors are kindly requested to respect the indicate timings.

Questions will be forwarded through the online platform to the chairman that will forward it to the Speaker.

PREPARATION OF YOUR CONTRIBUTIONS/REHEARSAL AND TECHNICAL INFORMATION

Your e-mail will be given to technician that will send you a link where to connect n. h 2 hours in advance into the Speakers waiting room for technical rehearsal.

You are not requested to provide the power point in advance.

POSTER PRESENTATION GUIDELINES – ONLINE UPLOAD THROUGH THE PLATFORM – NO PHYSICAL EXPOSITION ONSITE

Each registered participant will be given access to the online platform for virtual attendance of the poster session and private questions to poster authors and also in order to collect Q&A questions from the floor during the sessions that will be received by the Chairmen.

In preparing and deliverying in advance your poster please use the following guidelines:

Format PDF high resolution, portrait layout, Basis 1080pixel x height 1920pixel, one single page delivery in A4 format, including abundance 1 cm per side.

Questions to your poster will be delivered by e-mail.
